i was unable to get any good screen shots of the DPS meter due to the fact that we had ppl switching out toons alot for certain boss fights. i think next team i lead i'm gonna set a rule in place that we roll with one toon unless absolutly needed to get past a certain boss. like we only have 1 tank for Moroes and we need a 2nd type thing. but on fridays run i was dead for most of the 3 attempts on Shade and at the end of the night i was still on top with 21.32% of total raid DPS followed by our wonderfull Affliction Warlock whom had 16.68% raid DPS. that is about 4.5% DSP difference between 1st and 2nd!?!? help me out here guys. i'm affraid that if i ever want to take my shaman in place of my Hunter we may not have enough DPS to down some bosses, and ppl already want to start switching ppl out for ppl with greens. this is a good idea to better gear the guild (which i am all for) but we need to be sure we can handle what we are doing. i am sure that Attumen, Maiden, and maybe even Moroes (given good CC) we will be fine, but after that Opera, Curator, Shade, Prince (whom we have only downed once mind you) will be a lot tougher not impossible, just tougher. i don't want ppl going in thinking they are gonna be able to see Prince their first week then only to be disapointed and have a big repair bill. i think some ppl are getting a little relaxed when it comes to Kara and we really need to keep on our toes and keep our edge going if we think we are going to do Grull's or even ZA sometime soon. we still have ppl that are not even done or have not started their Kara attunment yet. i think i will be a little bit more strict on chatter and being ready (reagents, pots, ammo, and other goodies) i still want ppl to have fun but when the raid starts i want us to be on the ball not trying to catch the ball. we have a good group going on our 8pm runs and i think with just a little more structure we could easly get to and down Prince in 2 of our 3 raid nights.
well back to work for now and see you for Shade & Prince tonight :::on knees praying for Sunfury:::
